Here is my most recent project I've been working on at the Willem De Kooning Academie, where I have now finished the semester at. It was a project which started at the examination of the Grevelingen lake south of Rotterdam. The lake has a huge Dam which controls the flow of seawater in and out of the lake, and the pretence of the project being to think about whether this is an ecologically responsible thing to do. My reaction to the project was producing a booklet which compared the different factors surrounding the lake and interference with nature on a larger scale. As the comparisons become more bizarre or fractured the sides to the argument increase and thus the image (which is the same throughout) becomes more fractured and difficult to tell.
